The Book Bike is also part of the summer programming at the library. The Bike is a small mobile library that travels around Camrose to parks, green spaces, and community events providing library services and programming in an outdoor environment. The Book Bike is a way to utilize the library's resources and services for those who may not be able to physically access the library.
The Life Cycle will continue running through the summer as well, as a part of the Cycling Without Age program. This bike strives to end isolation amongst seniors and those with limited mobility by giving them the opportunity to enjoy bike rides and "feel the wind in their hair". The Life Cycle is a trishaw, meaning that there are two seats in the front for riders, with one in the back for a pilot to bike. This bike aspires to have everyone feel involved within the community, regardless of mobility.
